Beggars Barn is a 18th century, grade II listed building with beautiful views. Set in the heart of the Sussex countryside it is to be found adjacent to the Wealdway and Vanguard Way. Ideal for visiting many National Trust properties, sporting activities, the coast together with fascinating country pubs.

We offer enchanting, separate accommodation with en-suite bathroom. All bedrooms have a colour television, radio, tea/coffee, making facilities and hair dryer. Packed lunch and dinner are available by prior arrangement. All parking is off road and garaging is an optional extra.

THE SUMMERSBY

Breakfast can be served in our delightful Summer House, which has wonderful views across the valley. The Summersby rotates so you can choose your own view!! Many of our guests enjoy dinner by candlelight in here during the warm summer evenings.

BREAKFAST

A delicious full English Breakfast is served between 6.30-11.00 or at an alternative time by prior arrangement. Breakfast can be served in your room, over at the barn or in the Summersby. For a special occasion you can have our Buck’s Fizz-Breakfast in Bed!! Consisting of Bucks Fizz, smoked salmon, scrambled egg and tomatoes, followed by toast with homemade jams and marmalade for only £5 extra per person.

DINNER, PICNICS AND PACKED LUNCHES

All the above are available by prior arrangement, special diets are not a problem!! 

We can also organise the drying of clothes for walkers, morning papers, transport, advice on places to eat, local attractions to visit, maps, walks, bike hire, fishing and horse riding.
